FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY AUTHOR FORUM

PRESENTS:

GREAT PODVERSATIONS

An interview podcast, introduced by Robert Siegel, former host of NPR’s All Things Considered

The University of Louisville Kentucky Author Forum is presenting a NEW podcast, with the caliber of authors and experts you have come to expect from the Forum. We have been televising our staged Forums for years as Great Conversations on PBS affiliates, and distributing the podcasts through NPR. This new series of podcasts, called GREAT PODVERSATIONS, will springboard our compelling interview conversations into the future.

NPR’s Robert Siegel, former host of All Things Considered, will be the introducing voice at the start of each podcast. Mr. Siegel has a long relationship with the Author Forum, having interviewed some of the greatest names of our time: writer John Updike, musician and Pulitzer winner Wynton Marsalis, journalist Ted Koppel, religious author Karen Armstrong, Senator John McCain, historical novelist Erik Larson, political writer P.J. O'Rourke, and most recently, author Dani Shapiro. Ms. Shapiro is featured on Episode Two with author Ann Patchett, whose recent book, The Dutch House, was a finalist for the Pulitzer as well.

As is our tradition, guest authors and experts will discuss literature, politics, history, economics, science, and culture. PODVERSATIONS are geared to be a bit shorter than our hour-long staged events, in a nod to our very busy listening public. The first PODVERSATION episode features MSNBC political analyst Chuck Rosenberg in conversation with The Atlantic columnist David Frum.

Don't miss it!

GREAT PODVERSATIONS is available NOW on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, NPR, RadioPublic, and Google Podcasts.

GREAT PODVERSATIONS offers listeners inspiration, entertainment, and education.
