Following Governor Andy Beshear’s executive order outlining specific steps all public-facing businesses should take to contain and limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), all Kentucky Performing Arts venues will close effective March 19, 2020. These venues are The Kentucky Center, the Brown Theatre and Old Forester’s Paristown Hall.
We support Governor Beshear’s efforts to ensure the health and well-being of the public,” said Kentucky Performing Arts President and CEO Kim Baker. “Even though our stages will be temporarily empty, we are working to bring artists and audiences together through digital media. The arts can still bring us together even though we are apart and provide some much-needed inspiration in these challenging times.
The most updated information on rescheduled and canceled performances can be found at KentuckyPerformingArts.org. In the case of cancelation, all ticket holders will be issued refunds. In the cases of rescheduling, all tickets will be honored for the new date.
