As an integral member of the Kentucky Tourism, Arts, and Heritage cabinet, Kentucky Performing Arts, along with the other agencies seek to preserve and promote the history, heritage and arts of the Commonwealth.
In addition to performances in our facilities, Kentucky Performing Arts' education and outreach programs bring the arts to children and
adults in dozens of community centers, healthcare facilities and schools
in all of Kentucky’s educational regions. Through its programming and
education departments, KPA is able to bring the arts to virtually
all of Kentucky’s 120 counties. And its access services ensure that
everyone can experience the wonders of the performing arts without
barriers or restrictions.
